WELTRAUM - Epic Pad/Lead Preset for Bitwig Studio (EN/DE)

Hey folks,

Today I thought about a new patch. An Instrument-Layer Device from Bitwig full with DC-Offset´s. For each voice a layer, individually modulated and at the end a bold multilevel effect section.

Each layer is a DC Offset modulated by two LFO´s The two LFO´s change their shape by random modulators. Sine, Tri, Saw. They are also slightly detuned against each other to create a floating effect. Of course, the strength of the modulation is also randomly modulated.

Now that each voice is a single working synth in itself, the whole polyphony quickly comes to life. All voices are then sent to a bold effects section containing 1 very large reverb, 1 filter that limits the overtones and followed by 2 pitch reverbs that are EQed to the upper frequency range to create some textures.

Here and there a few more "Blur Devices" and the stereo picture is wide and lively. Best to watch the video, that explains it quite well! As always, you can find the finished sound in my Github repository. Direct Download.

Heute habe ich mir einen neuen Patch überlegt. Ein Instrument-Layer Device von Bitwig voll mit DC-Offset´s. Für jede Stimme ein Layer, individuell moduliert und am Ende eine fette mehrstufige Effektsektion.

Jeder Layer ist quasi ein DC Offset der von zwei LFO´s moduliert wird. Die zwei LFO´s wechseln durch Random Modulatoren ihre Form. Sine, Tri, Saw. Sie werden ausserdem gegeneinander leicht verstimmt um eine Schwebeeffekt zu erzeugen. Natürlich ist die stärke der Modulation auch Random moduliert.

Da nun jede Stimme ein einzelner in sich funktionierender Synth ist, wird das ganze mehrstimmig schnell schön lebendig. Alle Stimmen werden dann noch in eine fette Effektsektion geschickt, die 1 sehr großes reverb enthält, 1 filter der die obertöne begrenzt und gefolgt von 2 pitch Reverbs, die per EQ auf den oberen frequenzbereich begrenzt werden.

Noch hier und da ein paar schön umfangreich modulierte Blur Devices und schon ist das Stereo Bild schön breit und lebendig. Am besten das Video anschauen, daß erklärt es recht gut! Ihr könnt den Patch in meiner Github repository runterladen, oder hier der Direct Download.
